This is a people friendly church. We want to make all feel welcomed and accepted. Together we want to become more pleasing to God in the way we think and act.
We are at the heart of this community to present Jesus and his teaching as the way individuals and society is changed.
The church members have a deep involvement in various aspects of community life and we are happy that our building is being used for a range of activities. At present we have a Down Syndrome Drama group; a speech therapy classand themed Bible study groups.
We have a range of presentations and studies that help to explain the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Schools – Presenting Baptist beliefs in the context of the Religious Education curriculum.
Personal Bible study – Christianity Explained is a 6 session course that gives basic truths about Jesus Christ and how we become his followers.
Seminars on selected subjects – Loneliness, depression, living as a single person, sexuality are some of the subjects we cover.
