Visit of Newry High School

GCSE Students from Newry High School visited the Baptist Centre to learn about Baptist beliefs and how we do church. A video was shown which showed the worship patterns of the church. Our group of around 70 are led by a band, mostly composed of young people in lively, modern worship songs. they saw a presentation about Baptist beliefs which covered our view of the Bible as God's authority, communion and our practice of believers baptism.
Everyone received a "fill in as you go along" sheet and a fact sheet on believers baptism which was taken away to help in course work.
We are of course open to other schools doing the same thing.
